Tara R. Kim

Description

Dr. Kim focuses on family, cosmetic, and dentistry under general anaesthesia. Her patients know her as the “gentle dentist” for her careful and considerate treatment of all patients.

Dr. Kim obtained her Bachelor of Science (1996) and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (2000), both with Honors at the University of British Columbia. During her four years in dentistry, she was granted numerous awards. She was awarded the Proficiency prize in Oral Medicine. She was also granted the Matthew J. Waterman Prize and the New Investigator Award for her excellence in dental research.

Following graduation, Dr. Kim was selected as one of three general practice residents (G.P.R.) at the University of Alberta. This elective training gave Dr. Kim further training in oral maxillofacial surgery, endodontics
