Description
Dr. Alan Fernandes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Western Ontario (1992) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School (1997). He returned to Canada to be close to his family and began practicing in the Pickering area in 1997. In addition to private practice, Dr. Fernandes worked as a clinical instructor in the hygiene program at University of Ontario Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. An animal lover, Dr. Fernandes is the proud owner of five cats and one dog. When not working, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and playing the guitar.
