Dr. Zamiri attended Shiraz University School of Dental Medicine in Iran, where he graduated summa cum laude as a general dentist in 1989. His interest in the surgical correction of deformities led him to follow the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at National Iranian University where he obtained his specialty degree in 1996. Deeply interested in education and research, he then joined the Shiraz University department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He was involved in teaching, research, and clinical treatment as a full-time assistant professor then associate professor for 25 years. He performed thousands of oral & maxillofacial surgeries, teaching hundreds of undergraduate and post-graduate dental students and published near 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
