I have been a Clinical Supervisor for an addiction treatment centre where I dealt with individuals who have unhealed trauma contributing to mental health issues, and subsequent addiction and self harm coping strategies. Assessing boundaries, emotional regulation and communication skills,  patterns of unhealthy relationships, poor decision making, and self-care and compassion are necessary areas of focus.  I use a no-nonsense approach with humour and a strong sense of advocacy to support your journey. My approach includes Internal Family System, Polyvagal Theory and ACT, among others.
