Description
Veronica is a registered professional counsellor (candidate) with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and has over 2500 hours of practice spanning 5 years. She specializes in Trauma and Intimate Relationship counselling for the LGBTQ2SIA+ community as well as specialized support for neurodivergence. Veronica practices a person-centred approach combined with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She is also trained in suicide prevention (ASIST) as well as having a background in Social Work.

Summary
VLG Counselling was originally opened by Veronica Greer in Oak Bay in the spring of 2019. The practice has the specific focus of being able to provide specialized therapy and support to the LGBTQ2SIA+ and Neurodivergent communities while being a safe space for anyone who needs it. Now, we have grown to have two counsellors, and one support staff in our practice, and we can’t wait to continue growing!
