Description
Hello! My name is Michael Toft. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, a neurodivergent person living with a physical disability, and a trauma survivor. My passion for deep and meaningful conversations led me to my career as a counsellor. When I’m not working or honing my craft, I strive to build a life filled with meaning. You might find me hiking and taking photos, writing, playing the trombone, training in martial arts, or enjoying a peaceful moment on a park bench that attracted me with a sentimental inscription.

Summary
Hi! I’m a counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors, a neurodivergent person living with a physical disability, and a trauma survivor. My curiosity about life experiences and passion for deep and meaningful conversations led me to be a counsellor. I work remotely, focusing on supporting neurodiversity, conflict resolution, and grief, although I’m happy to work with anyone who matches my therapeutic skills and experience. I draw from person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy and family systems therapy in my work. Thanks for visiting! I hope to hear from you.
