Description

Hi everyone, my interest in becoming a counsellor came from my journey with grief, after the traumatic loss of a sibling, along with battling an eating disorder. I come to the counselling practice with full humanity and awareness that experiences can leave us feeling defeated and even hopeless at times. My heart is to cultivate a safe enough space and therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, valued, seen and supported through their unique needs. I am fascinated by human resiliency and hope to empower clients to find that within themselves.

Summary

Traumatic stress, anxiety and depression are some of the common manifestations of unrest in our lives. Yet, finding rest does not only mean taking a break from what we are doing or simply indulging in temporary pleasures.

Rest is healing from past wounds and learning how to reconnect with yourself and others. At Resting Tree Counselling, we are here to help you find rest within yourself again.

“As your therapists, our office is our heart. It is where we hold space for all stories and emotions, no matter how big or small.”
