Description
I specialize in making sense of behaviour, learning, and relationship challenges in kids of all ages, for the adults who are responsible for them. I work with parents to understand what is driving behaviour, do a developmental analysis to see if maturation is on or off track, and provide strategies to address problems. As a developmentalist my approach is integrative based on attachment science, neuroscience, developmental psychology, emotion focussed, and takes into account the developmental and relational needs of the child, teen, or adult. Deborah authored Rest, Play, Grow and Nourished.

Kid's Best Counselling
Summary
Kid's Best Bet Counselling is a developmental center focused on supporting families when kids get stuck. We work with a range of issues in kids from anxiety to resistance to discipline problems, and help the adults understand what is needed to make headway. When kids get stuck adults can push kids harder, give up, or seek help. We also work with educators at the request of parents to provide a seamless approach from home to school.
