Jesse earned his B.A. in Psychology at University of British Columbia and his Masters in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University. He has over ten years of experience working with children, teens, and adults with agencies in counselling and the social services. Jesse works from a client-centered, trauma-informed perspective with influences from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Existential Psychology, among others. Hollyburn Family Services is a multi-service agency that has been providing support to children, youth, adults and families in the Greater Vancouver region since 1990. 

Hollyburn provides a range of professional counselling services to individuals, couples and families, supports families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other pervasive developmental disorders, provides residential care for children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, and offers training and support to foster parents and extended families.
