Description

Connie is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and a Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta. 

After completing her Bachelor of Applied Science in Communications at Simon Fraser University and a Master of Arts in Counselling at the Providence Theological Seminary, Connie became a certified counsellor in 2019.

Summary

Connie has a vast amount of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and parents in both non-profit organizations and private practice settings. She has a great interest in clients to reflect on their own abilities and strengths, to help them cope well with life’s challenges, and to promote resilience. Connie also establishes multicultural competence skills through working with clients from a range of ages and diverse backgrounds.  She is certified as an ADHD professional, a certified EMDR therapist, and a Play Therapist Intern.
