Description
A large part of our lives are intertwined with other peoples. We may be struggling to say no to things we don’t want to do, wondering if our partner is upset with us or we may feel left out if a friend didn’t invite us to their dinner party. All these situations can cause distress or unwelcome thoughts and feelings. Lauren offers a comfortable, safe space to discuss and explore your symptoms and feelings and the possible connection to these external relationships. What we may need from our therapist can change daily, and she wants to offer support in the way that fulfills your needs.

Summary
Counselling is a long-established form of mental health treatment that involves talking with a trained professional – like a trusted member of the team at Brightside Health – to address psychological and emotional issues, improve relationships, and promote personal growth and development. Therapy can take on many different forms. The goal of therapy is to help overcome challenges, gain insight into thoughts and behaviors, and develop coping strategies to manage stress and difficult emotions.
