Description
Rhiannon believes in a person-centered approach to counselling where her clients are able to feel a sense of respect and autonomy. She utilizes trauma informed practices combined with motivational interviewing skills, cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. She is also able to provide EMDR based therapy. Rhiannon has extensive experience working with adults, youth and their parents and is formally trained in expressive therapies. She is an ICBC approved provider as well as registered to provide CVAP counselling for victims of violent crimes.
