Amie has over 15 years experience working with individuals, youth and families in Vancouver, BC.  She is skilled in providing treatment for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-harm, addiction, family conflict, and relationship repair.  She is a registered social worker (RSW), a registered clinical counsellor (RCC). She is specialized in treating complex trauma and experiences related to adverse childhood events including childhood neglect and abuse. Common challenges such as relationship struggles, burnout, low mood and feelings of insecurity are also routine in her work.

Amie Anderson and Associates is a team of compassionate and highly experienced mental health therapists. We hold more than 50 years combined experience working in public and private mental health clinics in Vancouver (the unceded territories of the Musquem, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations).  We provide online counselling  and in-person sessions at our Hastings-Sunrise office in East Vancouver.  Most of us have worked together for more than a decade and feel confident we can help you find a therapist that fits for you.
