Description
Dr. Strandlund began her post-secondary education at the University of Alberta - first earning a Bachelor of Science followed by a Bachelor of Arts. In 2016, she moved to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life University to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic. After completing her preceptorship at Long Lake Chiropractic in Nanaimo, she graduated from chiropractic college in March 2020. Dr. Alyssia then moved back to Athabasca to start her very own practice.

Summary
Compass Chiropractic opened our doors in Athabasca November 2020. We are a chiropractic office who loves to see all sorts of patients, of any age, who are seeking chiropractic care to help with anything from treatment of injuries to wellness care. Dr. Alyssia loves taking care of entire families, especially children. She primarily utilizes Activator and Thompson Drop style adjustments. Dr Alyssia Strandlund grew up in Athabasca. From an early age, she was involved with the Athabasca Dance Society, Athabasca Figure Skating Club, and Girl Guides and continued with them throughout school.
