Description
I have always had a knack for fixing things, this, alongside my passion for healthcare, was the perfect combination for practicing Chiropody. After completing my Bachelors of Science, Undergraduate degree in Human biology and Biochemistry, I pursued an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody at the Michener Institute of applied Health Sciences. In the past I have worked at the Black Creek Community Health Center, offering a range of services, such as wound care, nail surgeries, routine foot care, and the prescription of custom made foot orthotics.

Summary
Katherine is a registered Chiropodist with over 20yrs experience she is part of the SOMA Healthcare team. SOMA Healthcare is a multi-disciplinary clinic with both registered Chiropodist and Massage Therapist. Chiropodist see all ages from children to adults. Some of the common foot issues treated are: ingrown toenails, corns/calluses, warts, thick fungal nails, heel pain/plantar fasciitis and general foot pain. Routine footcare such as: nail care, callus and cracked heel treatments are provided to all patients that require it, especially our diabetic and senior patients.
