Description
Before completing her TCM degree, Stefanie earned a her medical school Ph.D. in Germany. She worked several years as a doctor in the neurosurgical department. Stefanie was first introduced to Chinese Medicine when her father – a pediatrician – used acupuncture & Chinese massage to treat children in his clinic. When working as a medical doctor, she experienced an anesthesiologist using acupuncture. It left a lifelong impression. She is a strong advocate for a therapeutic balance between traditional acupuncture therapies and modern Western Medicine approaches.
