Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic medical system that includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, Tui Na massage, and dietary/lifestyle advice. Using these techniques, it can be used to treat many types of injuries and a wide variety of acute/chronic conditions and diseases. A TCM practitioner considers signs and symptoms from various perspectives and takes into account an individual’s unique pattern or patterns to determine a specialized treatment plan to restore balance within the body to support its natural ability to heal itself.
